A page for those games that are related to the genre in some ways, but don't quite fit in for one or more reasons, generally relating to the their overarching structure, a lack of ability gating or a lack of platforming. I've decided not to include strictly overhead/top down view action adventure games (which tend to fall under Zelda clones/Zelda-likes) with platforming here, nor isometric games, because there are so many of them. I've instead made a separate page for them.
